As these psychedelic folk rockers from Glasgow apparently like to play with dark-light contrasts, Lucid Sins is indeed a well chosen band name. My normal go-to address for this kind of music with a pleasant retro-flair, is Chris Wade's Dodson & Fogg but by good luck I stumbled over these guys, who deliver comparable goods, though a good deal harder hitting and with infectious grooves. The drivin Hidden in the Dark is another favourite.

This just has some great vibes all around - from the energy of 56th Floor and Symphony of the ironic sympathy to the gentle, laid back Soul Keeper - it’s worth the time to listen to it all.

God these guy's rock. Had the other two albums, came to this late, but wow, such an album. Love the raw "live" sound, each song is heavy and groovy with the right amount of soul in it. Need to see these live.
